Sorry for the prolonged delay...these days, I'm not on the computer as previously. Thanks for the info about Samuel Jones. I've had the same information for several years but hesitated to use it because I have been looking for some item in Belmont County, Ohio which would specifically state where he came from. I found a partial listing of those freed people entering Ohio in 1821, but his name wasn't listed. This omission causes me a problem because he and Jemimia clearly were married in that county in 1821 according to its marriage records. This bit of discovery is very vital to my research.
