My family and I have been trying to find information on one of my grandfathers, whose name is Mark Adams, Sr., born about 1886 and 1896 (we can't find where). All I have is his marriage license to my grandmother. He may have been a fugitive because the story is that he killed a white man in a dispute or something and fled and later married my grandmother.

I am also searching for information on one of my grandmothers, Katherine or Cassarene Taylor Adams. She was born in Lonoke County in Keo, Arkansas, on March 9, 1914, and died on October 18, 1999. She had 14 children by her husband, Mark Adams, Sr., who died in 1954. They were married on October 30, 1928 in Humnoke, Arkansas, in the Country of Lonoke. She is listed as Cassarene Taylor on the marriage license. Her mother Mattie Taylor who died when Katherine was a baby.
