1. From the 1840 Census,Pittsylvania County, 101st REGT, p.103, CLARK, David, family, slaves and one male Free Negro age 24-36 (page 259)
2. From the will of John Ward,Sr., freeing 136 slaves in 1826, Peter H. CLARK is listed as one of the witnesses to the will. (page 270)

I found no entries for BLANCHARD, BARNES, and ELAM.
