Jane METRASH is found in the 1830 Census for Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut in Roll M19_6, page 496, Image 482 at Ancestry.com. There are two people in the household, both free colored persons between the ages of 24 and 36, one male and one female.

There is also an Alvin METRASH in 1820 in Norwalk, Roll M33_1, page 273, Image 198 at Ancestry.

Am I to assume that you have found your Adam H. METRASH and family in the 1880 Census, Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut, Roll T9_96, Page 120C, ED 145?
