While working on another project I just happened to print from Heritage Quest a listing of ALL INDEXED blacks & mulattoes in Gloucester, Mathews & Middlesex counties on the 1860 Census. If you're searching for a possible FPOC ancestor in those counties around 1860 give a holler.

Project......researching the seven (7) jewels of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and find the surname CALLIS in Middlesex county for 1860. Anyone know if this could be the linkage for Henry Arthur Callis?
