The information I have is oral history. I was told that the plantation name was Hunter or White Plantation, and Eliza's mother was a cherokee indian and her father was the slave mater Mr. Hunter.
I will be going to Essex County VA museum today to do more research. I will look up information on Hunter Plantation and post it here.
