I don't know what county in VA he was born, but my ggggrandfather is Alexander Baalam who was born in VA. My gggrandfather Willie Lewis was living with him and Nancy Baalam (listed as their grandson) in 1900 in Liberty Hill, Dallas County. Alexander was 79 and Nancy was 75. I have found few Baalams anywhere. If you run across this name, please let me know.
