Hi Gail! I know the information that was written in the freedman's story about his birth location in Ann Arundel County on a plantation called Rowdown.

The original master was William Brogden and the farm was later
divided into two and Parker went to live on the plantation called "Nero" with Brogden's son David.

Parker was later involved in the Christiana riot and escaped
to Canada. From that remarkable journey, came my family. I have located a few old newspaper articles but I am searching for any information that I possibly locate. There are no pictures of William here in Canada. We also do not know where he was buried. In alot of ways we are still fresh in the research of this family although there are a few books out there. Nice to hear from you,

Thomas Brown, thombrown@cogeco.ca
