Re: Goins-Ailstocks
In Response To: Re: Goins-Ailstocks ()

I never checked (ohio) before this morning
But Yes, some of the Burdon (also spelled Burton, Burdine,) line
Migrated out to Ohio, Pittsburgh, Detriot & Canada in the early 1800s they
Branched off with some of the following
Surnames King, Tail (straight) Hendrix (spelled 3 different ways .In my matches the Hendrix are related to the SC Hendrix), Bowen ,Ellis, Pikowi,Varnador, Chartier in Pa & Ohio, Sizemore.
Bowen surname seems prominent in that Ohio line. I have seen that Labon which sometimes becomes Lebon in Louisiana..

They are tri-racial. They may have started off as mulatto but ended up
Living with & intermarrying indians. They relocated to enclaves during unrest where white/black/brown /indians could co-exist because they shared DNA and for the most part were “cousins” So IMHO, I guess ? It is it’s own subculture as valid as any other
“recognized “ accepted culture.

Does anyone else have B.Pinn from SC, in their Goins/Stalk DNA matches?
