Re: South Carolina Egyptians - F.P.O.C.?

Greetings to you. I was wondering if you looked into any of the information discussed in this thread. I am sure you are aware of President Obama's reference to Muslim assistance in establishing this country. He was not the first President to do so. The reason is that Moors were here prior to Columbus, piloted his ships, and came after him. Research Sir Walter Drake. You can chose to ignore the references to him being a pirate if you desire; however, regardless of that detail, all of the varying stories concerning him state the same thing: that he freed captives from the Spanish colonies which included Egyptians, Moors, Saracens, Syrians, etc.

I understand that most of us in the Americas have been "trained" to believe the "story". For example the story of "pocohantas" is fake. The actual events took place in the Caribbean with the Taino Natives. It was translated in Europe and, upon reading it, John Smith said it was about him and Motoaka. She heard of this when she went to Europe where he was spreading "his-story". It's like us believing that John Bunch was actually a slave when he was an indentured servant.

Most "scholars" ignore the racist attitudes of the 1800's and accept what they say as facts. For example, no one talks about the Egyptian and East Indian soldiers here during the French-Indian War. The U.S told France and Egypt to remove the Egyptian soldiers as they will "increase the Negro population in the US".

I noticed that most people on these types are theads are ignoring historical documents (or just not doing any actual research beyond school-grade textbooks) when they contradict the "story".

What primary documentation do you have that proves that their were Moroccans ,Egyptians, Syrians and Moors[Moors and Moroccans are basically the same thing] in South Carolina in the 15th century[circa 1492]. Especially since the Spanish did not reach Mainland America and start a colony until 1526 consisting of African slaves and Spaniards. Which was abandoned by the way.

The Spanish did not get here first. Also, there is plenty of evidence that links the Arawaks to Berbers. Some Arawaks were said to wear moorish style clothing. The Arawaks are verified to have been in SC documented by De Soto in 1540. You forgot the (now called) Middle Eastern slaves and the free Black Africans. And if the Spanish colonies were abandoned, then who did the British colonizers fight when they went to Florida to retrieve runaway slaves? Just Seminoles? Florida was a Spanish colony that was taken by the British.

There were no European settlements in the Americas until much later since Columbus only landed in the Caribbean by 1492.

Exactly. Europeans came much later than most other populations. Moors and East indians are not and never were European...

And their were East Indian indentured servants in Virginia during the 17th century arrived via the East India Company. They weren't slaves and weren't a significant part of the population.

None of the East Indian companies started sending indentured servants to the Americas until the mid 1800's. We have been trained to believe that only Africans from certain places in Africa were slaves here in America. That is far from true. One Richard Jackson, believed by his descendants to have been a plantation owner, was actually a slave and owned by James Jackson. There is an actual document by James Jackson himself listing his slaves and how much they were worth. There were "white", "black", "N. African", "Native American", and "East Indian" slaves and free in colonial America.
