I'm looking at him now. It seems that Blacksmithing is a common thread with the Penman's as well. I see in 1870 he is in a household with Nancy Pellman who is close in birthdate with Nancy Penman. I'm not sure how far I can trace her. I'm not trying to go back through my Penman tree and work out the kinks. Is your friend Mr. Tillery? I spoke to him a couple time and we lost touch.
