A suggestion: Research the BLOUNT/BLUNT family in the Probate records of Pasquotank Co., NC. FamilySearch has them online for free and perhaps by looking through some of the early wills and Estate records, you may find something on the family.
Wills are under the NC Probate Records, not indexed, and Estates are indexed under NC Estate Files, for which I see several BLOUNTs for Pasquotank. By looking through the wills, you may also find one for your ancestors, too.
