I recently came across a great deal of information about Squire and his ancestors. I am in the process of writing a book about the Walden/Goins families who were my ancestors. Squire is a direct descendant of William Walden, brother of my direct descendant, John Chavis Walden who was born around 1720 in Surry County, Virginia.
