Laws of inheritance 19th Cen Louisiana
I have a Legal question relating to laws of inheritance in 19th century Louisiana. When a succession requests a family meeting consisting of the "nearest relatives" of the individual mentioned, do the order of the signatures signed by the members reflect an ordered line of descent from a common ancestor or are the order of signatures random? I'm talking about a will that occurred in 1860.
