What were his children's names and on what census and in what state and county did you find them?

not even sure if there are records that go back this far but Im looking for the parents or siblings of William White born 1814 or 1815 in Gloucester New Jersey he Married Mary Chatman.for some reason I have follow 1850 census that said that he was born in new jersey,but his children on other census put that he was from Maryland,wich is confusing how do I go about finding where this familys from.and would there be any obituary records for William White he was born so long ago? please help.
