Hi Robert. I have a question mark in front of Moses, David, Benjamin, Joshua, Elizabeth, Archibald, Milly and Usly Gowen's names which means I am not sure they are children of Agnes--just my best guess based on the information I've found.

Yes, this Sherod/ Sherwood seems to be the one in the Revolution. The other one was from Pittsylvania County. That branch of the family appear to have been considered white in 1813.
