These names are associated with my Chapman ancestors in Granville beginning in 1788.

John Collins married Nancey Hartgrove/Nancy Hargrove, daughter of John Shepherd Hargrove in 1790.
William Collins married Polley Clardey/Polly Clardy with Thomas Collins as best man in 1791.

There are some other marriages & deeds between Collinses & Clardys , but I do not have my notes in front of me.
