Hi Doug
I was wondering if you could help me out with Lewis's son Joel Burden. I am trying to find out who his wife Sarah was. I know she was his second wife, the first being Martha Mitchel. I was working on a hunch that Sarah Burden might be Sarah Sweney/ Sweeney, daughter of Nathan and Polly Lett. I have a few things that seem to indicate not, but Id like to definitely rule it out. Cant find a marriage for them OR a death record for either of them. One son's death record indicated that her name was Saralynn Norman, but I havent been able to run that down either.

Joel Roberson BURDEN, son of Lewis BURDEN and Mary "Polly" GOENS, married 12-29-1842 in Darke County, Ohio; Martha MITCHELL. He subsequently married Sarah Ann NORMAN, daughter of Joel NORMAN and Delilah MNU. Joel BURDEN died 09-20-1892 in Michigan.
