Eloise Meullion is my 4th great-grandmother. I descend from her daughter, Julie Birotte, from her relationship with Francois Birotte in Opelousas. John or Jean-Baptiste Chevis was my ancestor's half brother. Eloise also had two other children. One named Pauline Chretien and the other Eloise Tauriac. Pauline married Jean Baptiste Defils Jr. and Eloise Tauriac married Ludger Birot, the brother of Julie[Complicated eh?lol]. John married a Stratten and had a bunch of children.
