Hello, I am the descendant of Jack Weaver born between 1776-1800 in North Carolina, who is my 5x great grandfather. Jack's son Etheldred/Dread/Dred (1819-1902), 4x great grandfather, was in Columbus, Ohio by 1850 according to the census record with his family. I am trying to find information on Jack and further back. Also, in the 1850 census is the name which appears to be Briney Weaver, age 80, born circa 1800, who was living in the household. Who is he? On Dread's death certificate it lists the father as Jack Weaver.
