Hi,

Celestine LaCoust is the mystery Aunt of my Cousin who was living in New Orleans during the 1850s. Her name was mentioned by a Civil War soldier in a pension file interview of an uncle of mine. The soldier claims that Celestine owned the fairgrounds or at least had property there. Not sure what that means since the fairgrounds was a famous New Orleans race track. The cousin was a horse jockey in New Orleans during this time period and I'm sure if his Aunt married a LaCoste or was a Lacoste by birth.
