I am sure you are already aware that Gift and Rosanna Thurston were free black females, both aged 55-100, living in Newport County, Rhode Island in 1830; and, Pompey Thurston, 35-55, a free black male, lived in Ward 7 of Boston, Massachusetts, according to the 1830 census.
