I believe if you type in the surname "Goins" into the forum search engine you will see quite a few postings already on the forum about the family. Maybe not specifically about Martha, but you could learn quite a bit that way about the Goins/Goens/Goings, a huge free family clan. There were free Goins in almost every State before the Civil War.
