In Halifax County, North Carolina, Moses Manl(e)y, filed for a pension in 1819, saying that he was 52 years old, (b. abt. 1767), had enlisted in August 1781, and that his family consisted of his wife Chloe (age 60), daughters Sally (21), Esther (17), and Candys (15). In 1845, an Arthur Manly, inquired about a claim he had filed.
There were many more MANLEYs in Halifax, some of which were in Northampton Co., NC in earlier census, so I know that many of those families were connected. I've never heard of a Cullen in the family, however, but that's not to say there wasn't someone in there at an earlier time.
