I must post on this site and say how happy
I was to see my gggreat grandmother listed
as free in 1860. Then to see her listed in
the household with her family in 1850.
I have been researching my Alston Family
for years - Peter and Margarett - and
never thought to look-up Margarett's side.
Her last name was listed on two of her
childrens death cert. Now I am back to my
ggggreat grandmother. This is just so SPECIAL.
