Re: the mother of mothers
In Response To: the mother of mothers ()

I just wanted to thank you for this research. I have researched the Simons a little. I did the genealogy for some Simon friends 20 years ago...only back to the Castillon lady. My friends are deceased now, but he was so excited that I found her. I lived in Houston, so never did further research. Now I live in Louisiana now, and I hope to get to do more research.

It is just great. My Simon friends lived near Beaver Creek, LA on the Spring Prairie Rd. At the end of the road in Spring Prairie is where Louis Simon dit Larouille and Marie Auguste Belaire Fontenot lived or possibly they owned land all the way from Beaver to Spring prairie.
My friends said it was the Simon community.

If this location is incorrect, I would appreciate knowing. I have printed out your story and intend to study it again. Thanks very much.

Peggy
