I recently started reaching Alfred Dorsey who was living in North Union Twp, Fayette County. He was enumerated in 1900 with John Washington. Alfred's grandson contacted my about the family. It appears that the Dorseys I am connected to were living in Brownsville. Other surnames connected with this family are Walker and Wood. Do you think we may be looking at the same family? Alfred was born around 1899. I'm not sure if that was in PA or VA. There may also be a connection to the Thomas and/or Brown families. Both the Thomas and Brown families at some point lived in Washington Co.
