I just wanted to update that the General Jacob Proctor that was thought to be in the History of the Western Reserve is NOT the Proctor that we are researching. That Procter was Col. Thomas Procter and he was not from Charles County, MD. Here is his info on this page, hope this clears up some of the confusion:
