I am still trying to find my great grandfather Abraham Bass from North Carolina who migrated to Indiana and Kentucky. He was born in1853. He married Emma Owens from Kentucky. Her name may have been Burnett. Oldest son Everett born 1879 in Troy, Perry County Indiana and son Jesse born in Kentucky. There was a daughter Evelyn that I can't find. I wonder if he might be part of one of the FPOC Bass families from NC. I can't find an Abraham/Abe Bass anywhere. I am not sure if he went to Indiana or Kentucky first. I can't find them after 1880 census. Jesse Bass is my grandfather and lived in Derby Indiana then Hawesville Kentucky. I don't know anything else about Abraham / Abe. What counties in NC did most FPOC live? We think they may be FPOC. The only place I've found him is in Indiana but he did live in Kentucky at one time since Jesse was born there. If anyone ever sees an Abe Bass please post it. Thanks. kathy
