I have been dying to talknto you. As for Gabriel Butler, I don't know what kind of uniform that was, but he was in the United States Colred Troops, 43rd Regiment. I have @ 20-30 newspaper articles about him, including a list of family members who attended a reunion.

On a related note I have @ 100 or more pictures of black people from Western Pennsylvania in the 1800 s and 1900s, many of them identified, most of them AME church members, I wouldnlove to collaborate with you to see if the people you have idetified may be in my collection.

Also, you have a picture of my great grandmother at an AME conference, I saw it at a lunch where you presented your research in Pittsburgh at genealogy conference.
