I was rereading these posts and realized I have a picture of the Gabriel Butler mentioned in this obit, as well as several articles about the Butler family from the early 1900's.

My grandfather was the minister for the Butler and Pangburn families, although not for Sandra's Pangburns. I never paid attention to the fact that a Butler married a Pangburn, but that marriage may be the connection to tie the Pangburns I know about and the Pangburns in Sandra's family.
