I realize this is an old message, but I'm also seeking information on Locus/Lucas relatives from Nash County.

My 3 great-grand Emanuel Locus (1828) married Ann Jones (1832) in 1850. Both were born and raised in Nash County. In fact, I noticed several Locus's married to Jones, so that must have been a very small enclave of FPOC's.

I don't have a lot of information on them, but I would love to get in contact with anyone researching the Locus/Lucas family from Nash and neighboring Edgecombe County.

Paul Heinegg's research on this has been remarkable. I would love to see if I could connect the dots to one of the Lucas's mentioned in his book.
