Thanks for at least responding Ron. Yes, that is my Family, and I apologize for being vague. I have done a considerable amount of research and am certain that Henry was born in Virginia; but he lived in Tenn prior to going to Ind. Some of the oral tradition in the family says he came from Tenn. It may just be that younger family members didn't know for sure where he was born. I tried to find a thread, from a little while ago, that I thought spoke to the practice of some FPOC to give untrue info to census takers etc. Just trying to clear up some of my own confusion.
