My husband's Copelands were living in Nansemond Co., VA in the mid to early 1800s. The matriarch of that family was Rosetta Copeland b around 1820. Her grandaughter Eva b. 1861 married John Thomas Weaver. Eva and her family lived in Hertford Co around the town of Ahoskie. Does this sound like any of your family information? Thanks.
