Ted STOUT is the one who physically saw the originals & sent me his transcription. I know you have his email address. I believe the trunk is in his possession or at least someone in his wife's family. She is the REDMAN great-granddaughter of Isaac Wolverton REDMAN. But the last couple times I talked to Ted, he was not working much on genealogy anymore.

No I can't answer that with any certainty. I never heard that Jesse Sr. was in Ohio. I know the brothers Isaac & Jesse Jr. spent some time in Ohio & were supposed to be involved with the underground railroad. But unfortunately there were other individuals by the same name in Ohio at the same time & I can't tell them apart because the census did not list household members before 1850.

Unfortunately she assumed I was enquiring about an
Isaac REDMAN (former slave) m=Nancy CUNNINGHAM.
She thought I was confused about the REDMAN lines & I could
never convince her that Isaac REDMAN (FPoC) m1=Nancy JONES
was a different REDMAN line altogether.

If you try that research angle angle, please DO let me know any new findings.
