In Response To: AMOS FROM OXFORD, PA ()

i appreciate all the response on my research on the amos family from the oxford, pa., area - research so far has produced the following info -
>george amos was a farmer in the uchlwan area and moved into the oxford area - his children were: samuel h. (1823-1901); james ralston (1825-1864); and thomas henry (1825-1869) - all were ministers and james and thomas attended ashmun institute and later rec'd diplomas from lincoln u in 1859; samuel h married margaret wilkson (or wilkerson) born in norristown, pa., (my great great grandmother) they had the following issues: esther ann (1841-1898; my great grandmother); isaac (1843-?); mary e (1846-?); william H[oward?] (1848-?); catherine (1850-?) - there is a sarah jane also, but i am not sure she is blood related ( sarah jane hunter miller married thomas amos, jr., in 1858 or 59)
