Okay, sadly I have to regroup. This was a fun trip and lead but it has come to an end. Since the Cowles Vaiden in this history was born in 1812, he cannot be the father of my Elizabeth who was born in 1815.
So that means its a different family. I suppose I need to go back to the name VERDUN since that was the marriage record I found.
