The person who said it was a soldier named Victor Biche during one of the interviews.He said that at the time he met my cousin in the 1850s, they were trying to be horse jockeys. I thought it was a story that would be worth investigating,especially when i found out the fairgrounds was a major thing in New Orleans. I did find a listing for a Celestine Lacoust who died in 1864. Dont know if it was her. Thanks, I will have to visit in person and look through the files myself.
