Hi

I have so many wonderful memories from both of my awesome grandmothers kitchens and my mom's. All could make wonderful discuits from scratch. My maternal Gran Josie was the best. Add fresh country sausage with homemade pepper gravy, and rice this one was my favorite from her. My paternal Grand Ze would be smothered livers and onions with rice and biscuits. My all time favorite from my Mom was her homemade banana pudding, fried corn, fried or baked chicken, and for an extra touch her chocolate cake.

I was a picky eater but whatever they cooked was extremely good. A lot of their food was fresh from the family farms. They cooked from the heart.
