Centuries of history, hundreds of recipes
![]() Centuries of history, hundreds of recipes Cookbook release comes in church's bicentennial year Wednesday, July 30, 2008 By RONDA MISKELLEY Times Food Editor, ronda.miskelley@htimes.com If you collect cookbooks, or if you simply cook, you'll want to clear a spot on your kitchen counter for the latest must-have. It's called "Open Doors," and it's a project of the United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church. As a collector, you'll appreciate the hardback cover with full-color photos and section dividers. You'll be drawn to the historical narratives of the church from start to present, and you'll be touched by the heritage recipes submitted in memory of late loved ones. Messages In This Thread
