My father's brother, Raymond Jones was a cook at the Marion Hotel in Little Rock until his untimely death in 1967. Uncle Raymond cooked all the turkey, roasts and other meats for the hotel. But what I remember was his spaghetti, one of my favorite foods. I rememeber our trip to Arkansas summer of 1963 and spending the 4th of July with Uncle Raymond, Aunt Mildred and my cousins. I was 12 years old. It was the last time I saw him and he cooked up a feast of barbeque and all the trimmings.
