My mom still have some of her pots and pans from way back. I remember we had this set of dishes that had these rose flowers in the middle of them. My Mom still have the platter left over from the dishes. That platter usually was used to serve the biggest part of the meal like the fried chicken, the pork chops. etc. I remember her hand held egg beater and her flour sifter. I remember this one pot that was always used to cook the pot roast in. I remember those pot holders too, especially the ones that I made from the lttle strips of rags on a hand loom. (I think that's what it's called). I remember the rolling pin that was used many times to make the homemade dumplings and the crust for the peach cobblers. Hmmm, I can smell the nutmeg right now........
