Would be interested to learn if the researcher has included any work on the TOWNSEND families of Madison County Alabama. Many of the Black families were settled from Alabama to Ohio.

I will seek to find a prior discussion on the Madison Alabama case. In the interim I am posting a link to previously discussed Townsend names in the Slave research forum.
