While commemorating the birthdate of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Henry Louis Gates Jr. will discuss, "Genetics, Genealogy and African American History," at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum on Jan. 22, 2009. The public portion of this program, held at Claremont McKenna College, will begin at 6:45 pm, with free seating on a first-come basis.
