@linda yea those tools you named are very interesting. Alot of technical info i would have to familiarize myself with. But that Harappa tool, the Dodecad and the Eugenesis one is interesting.. But the Harappa one its creator said the groups dont represent true ancestral pops. Now just what is the purpose of the app...lol...pardon my ignorance. But school me on just what i should expect from those tools? I dont thnk it hit 24 hrs yet, but some of the tools like comparing my dna to all those in their database wont come up, at least not yet. But gedmatch looks fun. Just gotta learn how to use. So are the populations that show up on the oraclesjust tandom groups or ones reflective of your genetic data? How do you compare your dna with real populations with the goal of finding not just african connections, but origins? Any info would be helpful!
