If your great-great grandparent was "part" Indian, the percentage just may be too small to show up in the admixture test. Another possibility we need to consider is that people may be culturally Indian, but not genetically. Now if your grandmother was an Indian Princess (;^) that oughta show up in the DNA..... I sent Y-chromosome results to a 2nd cousin, once removed, telling her that the lineage matched the Kru people of Liberia. She said "We always thought we were Indian." Well, my first thought was "have you not looked in the mirror and seen your African ancestry?" But I didn't say it. I tried to explain that they could _still_ "be Indian," just not in the line I have in common with them, and that I had tested. toot
