I just received my AncestrybyDNA 2.5 results back today. Not what I expected. Before I got my results, with my known pedigree, I calculated my possible admixture to be 82% SubSaharan African, 10% European, and 8% Native American. Well my results are totally different. My results came back to be 63% SubSaharan African, 37% European, and 0% Native American. Has anyone else had a similiar shocking experience. I'm not totally saying the family oral history of Native American ancestors is wrong, but it may just be very small to have been detected.
