My brother took part in the National Geographic Genographic project. He tested E3a. We've been researching the Bandy family for quite some time. I invite any male Bandys to participate in our DNA project. You can read about it at www.bandy.co.uk. The project was trying to connect the U.S. Bandys to the British Bandys. The British Bandys tested as R1b, a typical white European haplogroup. But the U.S. Bandys have tested as E3a. All of the people who tested assumed their ancestors were white British. We are actively seeking African American Bandys to test to see if we can find a living link.
