Thanks to both of you for your responses. I was thinking the same thing with regards to $$. The only reason I was interested in submitting it to African Ancestry is because they might have a larger sample of Africans in their database. If I recall the Henry Louis Gates documentary (that tested Oprah and others), their dna samples were sent to different companies because, I believe, none of these companies share their database samples. Still, it is an expensive alternative. I thought it would be less expensive considering the lab work was already completed.
