Re: Gene Tree Results
In Response To: Gene Tree Results ()

Dee,
I had my percentages done by DNAPrint. Mine came back as 59% Sub-Saharan African, 34% European, 7% East Asian and 0% Native American. I understand that the east asian could be interrupted as native american. When you check the migration paths, the asians came to American using differnt routes. I don't know if this means anything, but I was about to post a message here asking the same question that you did. :) I was wondering if anyone else had done the test and had received these kinds of results.

My brother did the y DNA test. He had no 12/12 matches in the US and he is haplogroup E3a. His closest matches in his haplogroup were 10/12 and were in England,Gambia and Senegal. I don't know if this means anything, but he did have 10/12 and 9/12 matches in India and Sri Lanka to name a few other strange places. Could this account for the east asian percentages?

Linda
